Annie Ransom is a chef based in
Hudson Valley, NY.
She left a career in fashion design when the pandemic hit, packed up her apartment in Philadelphia, and moved to Nashville for a fresh start. She spent Covid cutting her teeth at Roze, Lou, and Folk before relocating to New York City in 2022. There, she worked at Win Son and Winona’s before joining a Brooklyn-based culinary studio—where she realized her two passions, fashion and food, could very much coexist in one career.
Now based in Kingston, NY, Annie is building her own private chef and event company paired with a highly curated in-house rental collection. Her work blends thoughtful, unfussy food with beautiful objects and intentional environments—bringing together everything she loves about fashion, design, and cooking into one cohesive experience. Each event is layered, personal, and deeply considered, from the menu to the table it’s served on.
She collaborates with clients and brands who want food that is genuinely delicious, visually striking, and grounded. Annie works throughout the Hudson Valley, NYC, and beyond.
